Cook the Lasagna Noodles
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Meat Filling
In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and marinara sauce. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.

Prepare the Cheese Mixture
In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, chopped parsley, and salt until well combined.

Layer the Lasagna
In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom. Place 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by a third of the meat filling. Repeat the layers: noodles, ricotta mixture, meat filling. Finish with a final layer of noodles and the remaining meat sauce on top.

Add Cheese Toppings
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the lasagna.

Bake the Lasagna
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Let the lasagna sit for 10-15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
