Prepare the Pasta

Cook the Tortellini
In a large pot of salted boiling water, add the cheese tortellini. Cook according to package instructions, usually about 4-6 minutes until they float to the surface and are tender. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.

Combine Cream and Cheeses
Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese and shredded Mozzarella cheese, whisking until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.

Season the Alfredo sauce with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Allow it to simmer gently for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
