Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Method

Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cauliflower

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower, then cut it into florets.

  2. 2

    Rice the Cauliflower

Place the cauliflower florets in a food processor and pulse until it resembles rice or fine crumbs. Transfer the riced cauliflower to a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.

  3. 3

    Mix the Crust Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the riced cauliflower, egg, shredded mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined.

  4. 4

    Form the Crust

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Transfer the cauliflower mixture onto the sheet and use your hands to form it into a pizza crust shape, about 1/4 inch thick.

  5. 5

    Bake the Crust

Drizzle the crust with olive oil, then bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and firm to the touch.

  6. 6

    Add Toppings and Bake Again

Remove the crust from the oven and add your favorite pizza toppings. Return to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. 7

    Serve

Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy your gluten-free cauliflower pizza!
