Preparation of Coffee

Brew Coffee
Brew 2 cups of strong coffee and allow it to cool. Mix in 1 cup of coffee liqueur and set aside.

Prepare Cream
In a large mixing bowl, combine 16 oz of mascarpone cheese, 1 cup of heavy cream, 3 tbsp of granulated sugar, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, and 4 egg yolks. Use an electric mixer to beat until smooth and creamy.
Assembling Tiramisu

Layer Ingredients
Dip each ladyfinger cookie briefly in the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy. Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish.

Add Cream Mixture
Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture evenly over the layer of ladyfingers.

Repeat Layers
Repeat the process with another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining cream mixture.
Chilling and Serving

Chill
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow flavors to meld.

Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with dark chocolate shavings.
