Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Start by cutting the pork belly into small pieces or strips, about 2 inches wide. This allows for even cooking and crispiness.

  2. 2

    Marinate

In a bowl, combine the pork pieces with salt, lemon juice, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight in the refrigerator.

  3. 3

    Boil the Pork

In a large pot, add the marinated pork belly and enough water to cover the meat. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 30 minutes.

  4. 4

    Drain and Dry

After boiling, remove the pork from the pot and drain it well. Pat it dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

  5. 5

    Fry the Pork

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the pork pieces in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until the pork is golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.

  6. 6

    Drain and Serve

Once crispy, remove the pork from the oil and place it on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve immediately while hot, with your favorite dipping sauce.
