Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
In a bowl, combine the buttermilk and blackened seasoning. Add the chicken tenders and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Prepare the Breading
In a separate bowl, place the flour. Remove each chicken tender from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off, and dredge in the flour until well coated.
- 3
Fry the Chicken
In a deep frying pan, heat the oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the chicken tenders in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- 4
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- 5
Assemble the Dish
On a plate, place 2 strips of Belgian waffles. Top with fried chicken tenders, crispy bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Drizzle with maple syrup and raspberry aioli.
