Steak & Eggs Ingredients

Method

Steak & Eggs Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the ribeye steak with salt and black pepper on both sides. Let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Add butter and crushed garlic cloves to the pan during the last minute of cooking, basting the steak with the melted butter.

  3. 3

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

  4. 4

    Cook the Eggs

In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and crack the eggs into the skillet. Cook to your preference (sunny side up, over-easy, etc.), seasoning with a pinch of salt and pepper.

  5. 5

    Serve

Slice the rested steak and serve alongside the cooked eggs. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
