Brewing Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Equipment

Place the coffee filter in the pour-over brewer and rinse it with hot water to eliminate any paper taste. Discard the rinse water.

  2. 2

    Add Coffee

Measure 2 tablespoons of freshly ground coffee and add it to the filter.

  3. 3

    Boil Water

Bring filtered water to a boil, then let it cool for about 30 seconds to reach the ideal brewing temperature of around 200°F (93°C).

  4. 4

    Bloom the Coffee

Slowly pour just enough hot water (about 1 oz) over the coffee grounds to saturate them. Allow it to bloom for about 30 seconds.

  5. 5

    Pour Water Over Coffee

Continuously pour the remaining hot water in a circular motion over the coffee grounds, ensuring all grounds are evenly saturated. This should take about 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once all the water has filtered through, remove the brewer and enjoy your freshly brewed pour-over coffee in your favorite mug.
