Preparing the Udon Noodles

Boil the Water
In a large pot, bring 4 liters of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Cook the Udon Noodles
Add 300 grams of udon noodles to the boiling water. Cook according to package instructions, usually around 8-12 minutes, until the noodles are tender but chewy.

Drain the Noodles
Once cooked, drain the noodles in a colander and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

Heat the Broth
Heat the mixture over medium heat until it comes to a gentle simmer. Do not let it boil vigorously.
Assembling the Udon

Serve the Noodles
Divide the cooked udon noodles into serving bowls.

Ladle the hot broth over the noodles in each bowl.

Top each bowl with sliced green onions, strips of nori, tempura, and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.
