Kofta Kebabs

Method

Directions

1

Prepare the Kofta

In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

2

Shape the Kebabs

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a long, oval-shaped kebab. You can either skewer them onto wooden or metal skewers or leave them as is.

3

Cook the Kebabs

Heat olive oil in a grill pan or on a grill over medium-high heat. Cook the kebabs for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.

4

Make the Tzatziki Sauce

In a bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, dill, and salt. Adjust seasoning to taste.

5

Prepare the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes, diced cucumber, kalamata olives, and crumbled feta cheese. Drizzle with olive oil and red wine vinegar, then season with salt and pepper. Toss gently to combine.

6

Serve

Serve the kofta kebabs with the tzatziki sauce, salad, and warm pita bread.
