Beef Patties

Method

Beef Patties

1

Prepare the patties

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently to combine without overworking the meat.

2

Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape them into 4 thin, round patties, slightly larger than the diameter of the burger buns. Press a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

3

Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook each patty for 3-4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Place a cheddar cheese slice on two of the patties during the last minute of cooking to melt.

King Sauce

4

In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, garlic powder, and paprika until well combined. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

Assembly

5

Slice the burger buns in half. Spread butter on the cut sides and toast them in a skillet or under a broiler until golden brown.

6

Spread king sauce on the bottom bun. Place a lettuce leaf and 2 tomato slices over the sauce.

7

Place one cheese-topped patty on the tomato, then stack a second plain patty on top.

8

Add pickle slices on top of the second patty. Spread more king sauce on the top bun and close the burger.

9

Repeat the assembly for the second burger.
