Chophouse Burger Ingredients

Method

Chophouse Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Onion

Slice the onion into rings. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add the onion, and sauté until caramelized, about 10-12 minutes.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the beef into two equal portions and form into patties.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Place cheddar cheese on top of the patties during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the brioche buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Spread house sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Add a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, grilled onions, and a slice of tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
