Prepare the Bread
If you haven't made the homemade bread yet, prepare it according to your favorite recipe and allow it to cool.

Assemble the Sandwich
Spread mayonnaise on one slice of bread and mustard on the other.

Layer the roast beef, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomato slices on the mayonnaise side of the bread. Season with salt and black pepper.
