Method
Brewing the Tea
- 1
Boil the Water
In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

Steep the Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat. Add the tea bags and allow them to steep for 5 to 7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

Add Sweetener
If you want sweet tea, add 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1 cup of honey, or sugar substitutes to the hot tea. Stir until completely dissolved.
- 5
Taste Test
Taste the tea and adjust sweetness as desired by adding more sugar or sweetener to your liking.
Serving the Tea
- 6
Chill or Serve Warm
You can either serve the tea warm or allow it to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for a few hours to serve it cold.
