Method

Beef and Onions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

Cut the beef sirloin into bite-sized cubes. Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook the Onions

Slice the yellow onion into thin rings. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté for about 5 minutes, or until they become translucent.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Beef

Push the onions to the side of the skillet and add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the seasoned beef cubes to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned and medium rare.

Zaziki Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Cucumber

Grate the cucumber and squeeze out excess moisture using a clean cloth or paper towel.

  2. 5

    Mix the Sauce

In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic clove, lemon juice, fresh dill, and salt. Mix well until fully incorporated.

Wraps

  1. 6

    Assemble the Wraps

Take a large lettuce leaf and place a portion of the sautéed beef and onion mixture in the center. Add a dollop of the zazeeki sauce on top. Wrap the lettuce leaf around the filling and enjoy.
