Pasta Preparation

Boil the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the skillet and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve

Combine Ingredients
Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly. Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
