Preparation
1. Juicing the Lemons
Cut the fresh lemons in half and use a juicer or your hands to extract the juice until you have 1 cup of lemon juice.
2. Making the Sugar Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar with 1 cup of water over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.
Mixing the Drink
3. Combine Ingredients
In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, the cooled sugar syrup, 3 cups of cold water, and 1 cup of cranberry juice. Stir well until fully mixed.
4. Serve
Add ice cubes to individual glasses. Pour the pink lemonade over the ice and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves if desired.
