Proteins

Cottage Fries

Optional Dipping Sauce

Method

Preparing the Proteins

  1. 1

    Cook Chicken Breast

Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper. Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C). Remove from heat and let it rest before slicing.

  2. 2

    Cook Ground Beef

In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Break it apart with a spatula, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 8-10 minutes until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat if necessary.

  3. 3

    Cook Fish Fillet

Season the fish fillet with salt and pepper. In a non-stick skillet, heat a small amount of olive oil over medium heat. Place the fish in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until it flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat.

Making Cottage Fries

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them into wedges or thick strips, leaving the skins on for added texture and flavor.

  2. 5

    Season and Bake

In a mixing bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated. Spread the fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Meal

Once the proteins and cottage fries are cooked, arrange them on a plate. You can offer one or a combination of the proteins: chicken, beef, or fish. Serve with cottage fries and optional dipping sauces such as ketchup or ranch dressing.
