Main Ingredients

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparation of Salmon

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Asparagus

While the salmon is marinating, trim the tough ends off the asparagus and rinse them under cold water. Pat dry with a paper towel.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

  3. 5

    Grill the Asparagus

Add the asparagus to the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are tender and lightly charred.

Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 6

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley. Remove from heat and set aside.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Place the grilled salmon on a serving plate alongside the grilled asparagus. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the salmon and asparagus before serving.
