Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tofu

Drain the tofu and press it gently to remove excess moisture. Cut it into bite-sized cubes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Tofu

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender-crisp. Add soy sauce and mix well.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Return the cooked tofu to the skillet with the vegetables, drizzle with chili oil, and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

  5. 5

    Serve

In a bowl, place a serving of cooked rice at the bottom. Top with the tofu and vegetable mixture. Sprinkle with tempura flakes and garnish with chopped green onions.
