Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Pork
Slice the pork tenderloin into thin pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- 2
Make the Sauce
In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
- 3
Simmer the Pork
In a large skillet over medium heat, add sesame oil. Once hot, add the pork slices and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- 4
Add the Sauce
Pour the sauce mixture over the pork, reduce heat to low, and let it simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 5
Cook the Rice
While the pork is simmering, rinse the rice under cold water. In a pot, combine the rinsed rice and water, bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to low. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until rice is tender and water is absorbed.
- 6
Serve
Once the pork is done, serve it over a bowl of rice and garnish with chopped green onions.
