Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Sausage

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the slow-smoked sausage until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking. Once cooked, remove from heat and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Cheeses

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese. Mix until well combined and creamy.

Combine and Cook

  1. 3

    Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, cheese mixture, diced green onions, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. 4

    Heat the Dip

Transfer the mixture into a slow cooker or an oven-safe dish. If using a slow cooker, set it on low and cook for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. If using an oven, preheat to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheeses are melted and bubbly.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve with Chips

Once the dip is ready, remove from heat. Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping.
