Riced Potatoes with Cream Gravy

Prepare Potatoes
Peel and chop the potatoes into small pieces. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

Make Cream Gravy
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in heavy cream, salt, and pepper, cooking until thickened.

Combine
Pour the gravy over the riced potatoes and serve hot.

Prepare Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.

Add Butter
Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add Milk
Pour in milk and stir until just combined; do not overmix.

Shape and Bake
Turn the dough onto a floured surface, gently knead, and roll out to 1-inch thickness. Cut into rounds and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 12-15 minutes or until golden.

Prepare Apples
Peel, core, and chop the apples. Place them in a large pot.

Add brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 1 hour until the mixture thickens.

Use an immersion blender to puree the apple mixture until smooth.

Prepare Vegetables
Shred the cabbage and carrots.

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar. Mix well.
