Pork Ribs Directions

1

Prepare the Ribs

Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Trim any excess fat if necessary.

2

Make the Rub

In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt to create a dry rub.

3

Apply the Rub

Rub the dry mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs, ensuring that they are well coated. Let the ribs sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

4

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

5

Prepare the Baking Dish

Drizzle olive oil in a large baking dish and place the ribs bone-side down in the dish.

6

Cover and Bake

Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

7

Prepare the Sauce

In a small saucepan, combine barbecue sauce and apple cider vinegar. Heat over medium heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally.

8

Glaze the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the foil. Brush the ribs generously with the barbecue sauce mixture.

9

Broil

Place the ribs under the broiler for about 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and caramelized. Watch closely to avoid burning.

10

Serve

Remove from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, then cut between the bones and serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
