Pork Baby Ribs Back
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs by sliding a knife under the membrane at one end and peeling it off with your fingers.
- 2
Make the Dry Rub
In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to create an even dry rub.
- 3
Season the Ribs
Generously rub the dry rub mixture all over the ribs, ensuring every part is coated. Wrap the ribs in plastic wrap and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- 4
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- 5
Prepare for Baking
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of foil to lock in moisture.
- 6
Bake the Ribs
Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until they are tender.
- 7
Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and honey together until well combined.
- 8
- 9
Broil
Place the ribs under the broiler for about 5-10 minutes until the sauce caramelizes and bubbles. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.
- 10
Serve
Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, then cut between the bones and serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
