Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Cream Butter and Sugars
In a large mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, stir in the vanilla extract.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Shape Cookies
Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
