Preparation Steps

Prepare the Pot
In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Add the Old Bay seasoning and any optional seaweed if using.

Cook the Potatoes
Add the small red potatoes to the boiling water and cook for about 15 minutes until slightly tender.

Add the Sausage
Slice the chorizo sausage and add it to the pot. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Add the Corn
Cut the corn into halves or thirds and add it to the pot. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Add the Clams and Shrimp
Add the littleneck clams and Sweetsound Aquaculture VT shrimp to the pot. Cover and steam until the clams open and the shrimp turn pink, about 5-7 minutes.

Serve
Carefully drain the pot and transfer the clambake to a serving platter. Serve with lemon wedges and melted butter.
