Prepare the Edamame
If using frozen edamame, there is no need to thaw. If using fresh edamame, rinse them under cold water to clean.

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

Add Edamame
Once the water is boiling, add 2 cups of edamame to the pot. Stir gently to ensure all the edamame are submerged.

Boil the edamame for 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still have a slight crunch.

Drain and Season
After boiling, drain the edamame in a colander. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sea salt while they are still hot.
