Select and Prepare Corn
Choose 3 fresh ears of corn that are bright yellow or golden and have tight, moist husks. Remove the husks and silk from each ear of corn.

Bring Water to a Boil
In a large pot, fill with water and bring it to a rolling boil over high heat.

Prepare Butter Mixture
While the corn is cooking, melt 6 tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add salt and black pepper to the melted butter and stir to combine.

Serve the Corn
Once the corn is cooked, use tongs to remove the ears from the pot. Place on a plate and drizzle with the seasoned butter. Optionally, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top for garnish.
