Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Corn and Potato

Fill a large pot with water and add 1 teaspoon of salt. Bring to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, add the potato and cook for about 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Potato

After 10 minutes, add the corn on the cob to the pot with the potato. Continue boiling for an additional 8-10 minutes until both the corn and potato are tender. You can check the potato by piercing it with a fork.

  3. 3

    Drain and Set Aside

Once cooked, carefully drain the corn and potato, and set aside.

Cooking Shrimp

  1. 4

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a large skillet or frying pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.

  2. 5

    Season the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the pan and sprinkle with Old Bay seasoning, black pepper, and additional salt to taste. Stir well to coat the shrimp in the seasoning.

  3. 6

    Cook the Shrimp

Cook the shrimp for about 3-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook them.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

On a serving plate, arrange the cooked corn, potato, and shrimp. Squeeze fresh lemon wedges over the shrimp for added flavor. Serve immediately.
