Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Rinse the crawfish thoroughly under cold water to remove any debris. Set aside. Husk the corn and cut it into halves if desired. Peel the potato and cut it into quarters.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Boil the Potatoes and Corn

In a large pot, fill with water (enough to cover the ingredients) and bring to a boil. Add the quartered potatoes and corn. Cook for about 15-20 minutes until they are tender.

  2. 3

    Add the Crawfish

Once the potatoes and corn are cooked, add the rinsed crawfish to the pot. Stir in the Old Bay seasoning, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the crawfish are bright red and cooked through.

  3. 4

    Drain and Serve

Carefully drain the pot and transfer the crawfish, corn, and potatoes to a serving platter. Optionally, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
