Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Cook the Fries

Preheat your oven according to the frozen fries package instructions. Spread the fries on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake until golden and crispy, typically around 20-25 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

While the fries are baking, cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Once cooked, transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess fat, then crumble it into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Cheese

Grate the smoked cheddar cheese using a cheese grater and set aside.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Fries

Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the grated smoked cheddar cheese evenly over the hot fries. Return the fries to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

  5. 5

Finish with Bacon and Green Onions

Remove the fries from the oven, and immediately sprinkle the crumbled bacon and chopped green onions on top. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the smoked cheddar bacon fries hot, and enjoy!
