Chop Tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Prepare Garlic
Mince the garlic cloves finely and add them to the bowl with the diced tomatoes.

Chop Basil
Roughly chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the tomato and garlic mixture.

Add Seasoning
Add salt, black pepper, and balsamic vinegar to the tomato mixture. Gently stir to combine all ingredients.

Prepare Mozzarella
Cut the mozzarella cheese into small cubes and set aside.

Slice Bread
Slice the loaf of baguette or ciabatta into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Toast Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the sliced bread on a baking sheet, oiled side up, and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
Assembling Bruschetta

Top the Bread
Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Top each slice of bread with the tomato and basil mixture.

Sprinkle the cubed mozzarella cheese on top of the tomato mixture on each slice.

Serve immediately while the bread is still warm, garnished with additional basil if desired.
