Gulab Jamun Ingredients
Method
Cooking Directions
Make the Dough
In a mixing bowl, combine milk powder, all-purpose flour, and baking soda. Add ghee and mix well. Gradually add milk to form a soft dough. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
Shape the Gulab Jamun
Divide the dough into small, equal portions and roll them into smooth balls, ensuring there are no cracks.
Fry the Balls
Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Fry the dough balls in batches, cooking until they are golden brown all over. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Soak in Syrup
While the gulab jamuns are still warm, immerse them in the sugar syrup. Allow them to soak for at least 1 hour before serving.
