Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Pat the sirloin steak dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.

Preparing the Lobster

  1. 3

    Prep the Lobster

While the steak is resting, prepare the lobster tail. Use kitchen scissors to cut the top of the shell lengthwise, exposing the meat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Lobster

In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in lemon juice. Place the lobster tail in a baking dish, brush with garlic butter, and broil for 8-10 minutes until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

Preparing the Crispy Mashed Potatoes

  1. 5

    Boil the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into cubes. Boil them in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to the pot.

  2. 6

    Mash and Mix

Add butter, heavy cream, cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper to the potatoes. Mash until smooth and creamy. For crispy, spread in a baking dish and broil until the top is golden brown.

  3. 7

    Garnish

Sprinkle chopped green onions on top before serving.

Preparing Seasonal Vegetables

  1. 8

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add seasonal vegetables, and season with salt and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender yet crisp.
