Wings

Method

Preparing the Wings

  1. 1

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt and black pepper to ensure they are evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).

  3. 3

    Fry the Wings

Carefully add the seasoned chicken wings to the hot oil, working in batches if necessary. Fry for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove the wings and drain on paper towels.

Making the Sauce

  1. 4

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 5

    Combine with Hot Sauce

Once melted, remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the Frank's hot sauce until well mixed.

  3. 6

    Coat the Wings

In a large bowl, toss the fried chicken wings with the hot sauce mixture until they are fully coated.

Making the Blue Cheese Dip

  1. 7

    Mix the Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine the creamy blue cheese dressing, sour cream, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Stir until smooth and well combined.

  2. 8

    Serve

Transfer the blue cheese dip to a serving bowl and serve alongside the hot wings.
