Wings

Method

Preparation of Wings

  1. 1

    Marinate the Wings

In a large mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, honey, and black pepper. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for best flavor.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a charcoal grill, ensure the coals are evenly distributed and glowing. If using a gas grill, allow it to heat for about 10-15 minutes.

Cooking the Wings

  1. 3

    Grill the Wings

Remove the wings from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place the wings directly on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).

  2. 4

    Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the wings from the grill and transfer them to a serving platter. Sprinkle with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving. Enjoy your hibachi wings hot!
