Taco Assembly

Method

Prepare Taco Filling

  1. 1

    Season the Seafood

In a bowl, combine the shrimp and cod fillet. Add olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the seafood evenly. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Seafood

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cod. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the shrimp turns pink and the cod is opaque and flakes easily.

Prepare Guacamole

  1. 3

    Mash the Avocados

In a bowl, scoop out the ripe avocados and mash them with a fork until creamy. Stir in lime juice, diced tomato, finely chopped red onion, and salt. Mix well until combined.

Assemble the Tacos

  1. 4

    Warm the Tortillas

In a dry skillet, warm the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

  2. 5

    Fill the Tacos

Place a portion of the cooked shrimp and cod on each tortilla. Top with guacamole, a drizzle of Valentina hot sauce, and chopped cilantro.

  3. 6

    Serve

Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
