Toppings

Method

Preparing the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently with your hands until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about ¾ inches thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing while cooking.

Cooking the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Preparing the Special Sauce

  1. 5

    Mix the Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, chopped pickles, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 6

    Toast the Buns

If desired, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 7

    Add Toppings

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty, a slice of tomato, and a generous dollop of special sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
