Prepare the Ingredients
Wash the fresh cherries thoroughly and remove the pits. Set aside. Squeeze fresh lemon juice until you have at least 0.5 oz.

Prepare the Glass
Chill a cocktail glass or coupe by filling it with ice water while you prepare the drink.
Mixing

Combine the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 1.5 oz of DiSaronno Originale and 0.5 oz of fresh lemon juice.

Add Cherries
Add the pitted fresh cherries to the shaker. Use a muddler to gently crush the cherries to release their juices.

Shake the Mixture
Fill the shaker with ice and secure the lid. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
Serving

Strain and Serve
Remove the ice water from the chilled glass. Strain the cocktail mixture into the glass using a fine mesh strainer to catch the cherry bits.

Garnish
Garnish with a fresh sprig of rosemary and a twist of lemon peel on top. Serve immediately and enjoy your Winter Sour!
