Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a small saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat, drain, and let cool before chopping into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Mix the Cream Base

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Use a hand mixer or whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. 3

    Add Flavorings

Stir in the hot sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper into the cream mixture until fully incorporated.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Gently fold in the lump crab meat, chopped shrimp, and diced pickle fresnos into the cream mixture. Be careful not to break apart the crab meat too much.

  5. 5

    Chill the Dip

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator. Let the dip chill for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

  6. 6

    Prepare the Sourdough

While the dip is chilling, preheat your grill or a grill pan over medium heat. Lightly brush the slices of artisan sourdough bread with olive oil and grill them for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove the dip from the refrigerator and give it a gentle stir. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve with the grilled sourdough slices.
