Method
Preparation
Prepare the Cauliflower
Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, and cold water. Whisk until smooth.
Frying
Heat the Oil
In a deep pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat until hot.
Fry the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing excess to drip off, then carefully drop into the hot oil. Fry in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
Drain
Remove the fried cauliflower and drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Sauce Preparation
Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together Korean chili miso paste, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic until well combined.
Serving
Combine
In a large bowl, toss the fried cauliflower with the prepared sauce until fully coated.
Garnish and Serve
Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
