Method
Frozen Lemonade Directions
- 1
Juicing the Lemons
Roll the lemons on a countertop to release the juices. Cut them in half and juice them into a measuring cup until you have about 1 cup of lemon juice.
- 2
Making the Lemonade Base
In a blender, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, granulated sugar, and 2 cups of water. Blend until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- 3
Freezing the Mixture
Pour the lemonade mixture into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer. Freeze for about 2-3 hours or until the mixture is solid.
- 4
Blending to Finish
Once frozen, break the lemonade mixture into chunks and place them into the blender. Add the ice cubes and blend until smooth and slushy in consistency.
- 5
Serving
Serve immediately in chilled glasses. Garnish with mint leaves if desired.
