1. Prepare the Sauce

In a blender, combine the San Marzano tomatoes, Calabrian chili pepper, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth.

2. Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) or your pizza stone if you have one.

3. Assemble the Pizza

Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer the dough to a pizza peel or baking sheet. Spread the Calabrian chili-infused tomato sauce evenly over the dough.

4. Add Toppings

Layer the spianata salami, piquillo peppers, and mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce. Sprinkle with grated Pecorino Romano cheese.

5. Bake the Pizza

Drizzle a little olive oil over the top and place the pizza in the preheated oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

6. Garnish and Serve
