Baking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with flour.

  2. 2

    Melt Chocolate and Butter

In a heatproof bowl, combine the dark chocolate and unsalted butter. Melt them together over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.

  3. 3

    Mix Sugar and Eggs

In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and eggs until well combined and slightly frothy.

  4. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring continuously. Add the flour and salt, and mix until just combined.

  5. 5

    Fill Ramekins

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.

  6. 6

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-14 minutes, until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.

  7. 7

    Cool and Serve

Allow the cakes to cool for 1 minute, then carefully invert each ramekin onto a plate. Serve immediately with fresh raspberries and a scoop of Tahitian vanilla ice cream.
