Chicken Wings

Method

Preparing the Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Prep the Chicken

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 375°F (190°C).

  3. 3

    Fry the Wings

Carefully add the wings to the hot oil in batches and fry for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Making the Hot Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, add Frank's hot sauce and stir until well combined.

Making the Blue Cheese Dip

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, mix together the crumbled blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  2. 6

    Chill

Cover and refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Serving

  1. 7

    Toss the Wings

In a large bowl, toss the fried wings with the hot sauce until evenly coated.

  2. 8

    Serve

Serve the hot wings with the blue cheese dip on the side.
