Method
Preparing the Chicken Wings

Prep the Chicken
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt and black pepper.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 375°F (190°C).

Fry the Wings
Carefully add the wings to the hot oil in batches and fry for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Making the Hot Sauce

Prepare the Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, add Frank's hot sauce and stir until well combined.
Making the Blue Cheese Dip

Combine Ingredients
In a bowl, mix together the crumbled blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

Chill
Cover and refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Serving

Toss the Wings
In a large bowl, toss the fried wings with the hot sauce until evenly coated.

Serve the hot wings with the blue cheese dip on the side.
