Cooking Pasta

1

Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a rolling boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt.

2

Cook Pasta

Add 12 oz of pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sautéing Vegetables

3

Prepare Vegetables

While the pasta is cooking, chop the bell peppers, zucchini, and slice the carrots. Halve the cherry tomatoes and separate the broccoli florets.

4

Heat Olive Oil

In a large skillet, heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.

5

Sauté Vegetables

Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Then add the chopped bell peppers, zucchini, sliced carrots, and broccoli florets. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

6

Add Cherry Tomatoes

Stir in the cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they are heated through.

Combining Ingredients

7

Mix Pasta with Vegetables

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with sautéed vegetables. Toss to combine.

8

Add Seasoning

Stir in chopped basil, grated Parmesan cheese, and black pepper to taste. Mix well until the cheese melts slightly and everything is evenly combined.
