Marinated Tofu Ingredients

Method

Marinated Tofu Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare Tofu

Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.

  2. 2

    Make Marinade

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, sugar, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well mixed.

  3. 3

    Marinate Tofu

Place the tofu cubes in the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

  4. 4

    Fry Tofu

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides, approximately 3-4 minutes per side.

  5. 5

    Prepare Daikon and Edamame

While the tofu is cooking, thinly slice the daikon radish and steam or boil the edamame until tender, about 3-5 minutes.

  6. 6

    Assemble Dish

On a plate, arrange the fried tofu, daikon slices, and edamame. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
