Preparation of Candied Bacon

    Cook the Bacon

    Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the bacon slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    Add Sugar and Pepper

    Sprinkle brown sugar and black pepper evenly over the bacon slices.

    Bake

    Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until crispy, turning halfway through. Remove and let cool before chopping.

Preparation of Croutons

    Cube the Bread

    Cut the bread into bite-sized cubes.

    Season the Croutons

    In a bowl, toss the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt until evenly coated.

    Bake Croutons

    Spread the bread cubes on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 10-15 minutes or until golden brown, stirring halfway through.

Assembling the Wedge

    Prepare the Lettuce

    Cut the iceberg lettuce into quarters and place each wedge on a plate.

    Top each lettuce wedge with chopped candied bacon, diced tomatoes, sliced red onions, and blue cheese crumbles.

    Drizzle blue cheese dressing generously over the top.
