Marinara Sauce

Method

Meatballs

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well using your hands or a spoon until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  3. 3

    Form Meatballs

Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. 4

    Bake Meatballs

Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are browned and cooked through.

Marinara Sauce

  1. 5

    Heat Olive Oil

In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

  2. 6

    Sauté Garlic

Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  3. 7

    Add Tomatoes and Seasonings

Add the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, black pepper, and sugar to the saucepan. Stir to combine.

  4. 8

    Simmer Sauce

Bring the sauce to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. 9

    Combine Meatballs and Sauce

Once the meatballs are done baking, add them to the marinara sauce. Stir gently to coat the meatballs with the sauce.
